John Shevlin began playing hockey at an early age.  For the 2011-2012 inaugural season of the Piedmont Hockey Club, John decided to give the upstart new program a chance, which was a risk, leaving an established program closer to his home.  John became the captain of the Predators Bantam AA team that season, a role John would fill with future Predator teams.  John was an integral part of a lot of firsts with Piedmont - the club's first season, the club's first AA team, the club's first U16 team, the club's first U18 team.  And for the finale, John was a captain of this season's U18 team that won the CBHL's U18 LA regular season and playoff championship.  At the end of the season, John was awarded the "Predator for Life Award" at the club banquet.  This fall John will begin his first year of college at Virginia Tech.  Way to go John!  You have a great future ahead of you.
