The Piedmont Hockey Club is announcing ELITE training for our top U16 team for the 2014-2015 season.

Elite training starts with an elite coach.  Coach Chris Borner fills that role in large order.  With 15+ seasons behind the bench coaching all age levels and skill levels including Tier I, AAA, and juniors.  Recently selected as Piedmont Hockey Club Coach of the Year, Coach Borner looks forward to the challenge of pioneering our elite training program.

Creating a truly elite experience requires a rigorous and demanding training program.  This elite training program starts the week of July 7 with twice a week training sessions with Next Level Training for 30 weeks.  The first 10 weeks will be 90 minute sessions that will include weight training.  Also starting the week of July 7 the team will begin 2 practices a week summer training.

Then, beginning the week of August 25, the team will begin a schedule of 4 weekly practices, while still continuing the twice a week Next Level Training sessions.

Piedmont Hockey Club Executive Director Ron Evans had this to say "I am proud to unveil our U16 Elite training program.  This is a one of a kind program.  There is no college, junior, or youth program, even at the Tier I level in this area that comes close to competing with this training program.  And I can't think of a better coach for this team than Coach Borner.  He will bring a wealth of hockey knowledge and experience to this special group of athletes."

Prospective players must be prepared to make a very significant commitment to participate in this program.  It is definitely not for the casual player.
