The Piedmont Hockey Club is very excited to announce the addition of Peter Townsend as our Girl's Hockey Director. Piedmont’s Girl’s program expects to field teams at the 19UAA, 19UA, 16UAA, 14UAA, 14UA, 12UAA, 12UA, 10UA, and 8UA levels.

Townsend has most recently served as the Girl’s Hockey Director at Northern Virginia Hockey Club (Nova Ice Dogs) for longer than the official position has even existed. During his tenure, Nova girl’s teams have won the local affiliate, Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Association (PVAHA), playoffs and advanced to the District tournament 18 of 21 opportunities. 4 of those teams were coached by Peter himself. 5 times his teams have advanced to nationals.
